Checking in at 207 today. I am now taking 1/3 the amount of BP meds that I use to take. My cholesterol is down to 152 (ldl down to 96). I am working out with dumb bells and getting stronger. Best of all I feel better than I have felt in years...

206 today. added walking on treadmill to my exercise routine.

I had to go to the doctor earlier this week, my O2 was 100. And, the Dr asked what I was doing to lose weight... got a nod of approval.

    Oh, and I'm feeling great.

BMI - 29.8 overweight and proud of it, I am no longer obese. I have now lost 131 lbs over the last 2 1/2 years... I weighed in at 196 this morning, I would like to get down to around 155...

Congradz to all you guys. Losing weight is real easy! Eat less than your body needs daily.Heh, sounds easy n e way.I have rid myself of 30# in the last 6 months.Dropped 20# before that time.It is tough to say no, and break the habit of eating till one "feels" full. I do NO exercise at all.Sit around most of the day.Diet has changed drasticly! I never ate snacks.Eat a lot of shelled peanuts. When I do cook it is made from scratch.I love beef/chicken/seafoods, but rarely eat meats n e more. I do make homemade pizza tho and homemade flour tortillas.Lot of cheese I guess. It takes will power to get there.I am 5'6" @ 140# for quite a few weeks now.Look better than I did in high school ! (class of 71).Kudoos to all that had the self discipline to meet your goals!

Well; just two weeks left for the 2019 edition. And, I have slowed my weight loss goals and increased my caloric intake as to not affect my metabolism (Biggest Loser syndrome). I want to maintain my weight loss. Also, it has now been a year since I started eating a whole food plant based diet, and I am happy to say that I am still doing that (the health benefits are significant)...
