I had an older '60s Classic.
    Very nice guitar.
I am suspicious of the price.

Not that it would bother me, but wasn't it rosewood in 2017? I don't know that, I just thought I remembered pau ferro coming after they got rid of the Classic series. I bought a Classic 50s in 2017, and I remember it wasn't long after that they were gone.

I paid $450.00 for mine and felt like I stole it.

Me neither, I've got two PF boards, never gave them a second thought.

You can also upgrade it with different pickups if you’re not loving the tone but like the rest of the guitar. And worst case scenario, if you don’t want to keep it? You could sell it and likely recoup your original costs or close to.

OP, step back from your computer/phone and go buy that guitar. You don't like it, flip it and more than double your money. I'd be surprised if it's still there if it's advertised to the public.

    What, you're still here?

Definitely get it, that is a great price!!!

I have two, both of my Classic Series 60s are partscasters, but I love them.

I didn't love the necks, replaced the Pau Ferro on the White one with Roasted Maple.
Still going with Pau Ferro on the Red one, but it will be the Roasted Maple Pau Ferro.
Just waiting on UPS to bring the new neck for the Red one.

Routed the neck cavity of the Candy Apple Red one for a Seymour Duncan Jazz humbucker.
The Olympic White one has Fender Texas Special pickups, both have 4 Way Toneshaper electrics.

Welp, I've pulled the trigger and bought the guitar. The seller has just sent me the shipping bill.
Everything seems fine, just hoping he packaged it well and the courier service won't wreck it.
The travel distance is around 1,000 miles and the expected delivery is on 28th.

Thank you everyone, I will get back to you next week hopefully with one fine Tele.

Best guitar I ever sold on, and still regret, was an MiM Classic 60s Tele.

    Just simply a great/classic guitar.
But, like most Fenders not made in USA, a pickup upgrade would beef it up even more! (Bareknuckle Yardbirds  )

7.25" neck is a different beast to 12"... but my opinion on that is that 7.25" necks are really easy to play, omd.

If the guy you bought that guitar from didn't steal it, you sure did!

    Excellente! Congrats!

I've got three of the higher end MIMs and love all of them. Highly recommend playing it for a bit before you start yanking parts - I'm guessing you'll be pleasantly surprised.

How is the honeymoon period with the new guitar going? I have two partscasters and they both have Classic 60s necks - one is PF and the other RW - and they are both great to play. Like others have said, the 7.25” radius is fine especially if you get a good setup from a luthier. I have put a set of PV 64s in the dirty blonde as rze99 suggested and they are awesome. The white blonde currently has a set of Tonerider/Classic Vibes in it at the moment though I’m looking to upgrade them to a 62 Custom bridge and something like a Bareknuckle Yardbirds or a Monty’s Retro Wind in the neck - still not sure what will go nicely with the 62 Custom 2D2F0B28-2A2E-4A7F-B02C-5BDADA1FB944.jpeg 1A22245D-14EC-45CA-8AB2-2A9C28549E0F.jpeg
