Never in doubt. <cough> I need to go change my shorts now. I do feel bad for that kicker. Move over Scott Norwood. It wasn't a miss in the Super Bowl, but a season ending miss anyway.

Hopefully, this was the Seahawks one stinker, and they'll go play much better in Carolina next week.

I bet on the Hawks but kinda hated to see the Vikings lose like that. Playoffs!

It's supposed to be tough and it will, but I'm betting on the Packers next. They will have to step up their game today.

Is the sound on Fox messed up for anyone else? When Buck starts getting loud it sounds like he's underwater.

I've not noticed anything but the normal terrible Fox audio production.
    No under waters sounds.

I really thought the Skins would win, but they haven't beaten a team with a winning record yet. GB is weaker this year but not that weak.

yeah the skins are the best of the worst of the NFC east but overall not a good team at all...its a fate the giants or eagles wouldve had today to...just bad teams in that division this year

It was weird to see the Packers win with a ground game, but that was really satisfying.

I like the Seahawks, but 10 points ain't gonna get it done in Charlotte.

I think it's amazing what they've been able to do through all these injuries, but I believe it all comes to a screeching halt this coming weekend. I say Caro wins by double digits.

First half I was finally uncontrovertibly convinced that Rogers was hurt. Second half he seemed to play better than I've seen in quite awhile.

I can't see them going deep, but liked that win.

I don't have TV by choice...watched the Seahawks & Vikings game, yesterday. An entertaining affair; nice defensive battle for much of the game. I still question Seattle not attempting that early field goal, that would've haunted them, had it not been for that, ironically missed, gimme field goal. Always had the feeling Wilson's athleticism would bale them out...that one hand grab was a real highlight! It was great to see Bud Grant, again! The Vikings were my favorite team, during my mid-'70's highschool days...same colors & I'm of Viking heritage. I've always liked the Seahawks, but the local bandwagon, gang, make it difficult to cheer from them publicly.

It was fun watching GB during the second half of the game.

Not so much the first half.

If the o-line can protect Rodgers, they can defeat the Cardinals.

Or so it seems on this eleventh day of January, 2016.

Going to be tough for Seattle no doubt, but I think it will be close, if not another nail-biter.

As good as Carolina looks, Seattle is battle tested in the playoffs. I don't see them getting rattled when/if the Panthers get off to a fast start. But yea, the injuries could be too much. And even though they struggle at times offensively even when healthy, I'd say the negative temperature had to at least have some effect on them only scoring 10 pts. We'll see.

Should be a better weekend of games. This is usually the best week for matchups, all 4 games are intriguing.

If both Green Bay and Seattle manage to win next week, that would put the NFC Championship game back at the Frozen Tundra.

    Wouldn't that be interesting...

    ;)

I think we can dismiss the "10 points" thing. The conditions were so horrible, that game was about survival. Next weekend will be a different story.

I like the fact that the Seahawks will have to go through more tough road games against teams they've lost to this year, if they're going to get back to the Super Bowl. You have to earn this thing, and winning like they did yesterday on a missed chip shot field goal by the Vikings just leaves a bad taste. I'm really having a hard time celebrating right now.

I do think we will beat the Panthers though.

Blair Walsh was a good kicker in high school and did well for us at Georgia until his final season. It was said that he split with his serious girlfriend before his final season and it affected his focus. He has been pretty good in the NFL, but I'm sure that most Vikings followers would like to trade him now.
