If the Redskins play the way they've been playing the last four weeks, they can beat anybody in the league. Bring on the playoffs--HTTR!

anybody can beat Greenbay right now

Chip Kelly will end up in Dallas with RGIII
    or Johnny Maziel

Him being fired by Philly doesnt mean much.

I wouldn't go that far, but Green Bay has problems.

I live in Minneapolis, and I just want to congratulate the Vikings on winning the Super Bowl last night.

I have doubts that either #1 seed makes it to the bowl. Carolina maybe, they're definitely legit at 15-1 but I wouldn't be surprised if they get beat. Though Cam has proved me wrong this season I still don't like how he throws off his back foot so often. Just have a gut feeling he has a bad game and throws some crucial INTs eventually.

On the other hand I'd be shocked if Denver makes it through. I'd really like to see Peyton go out like Elway...just don't think he has enough left. Plus history is not in his favor in outdoor playoff games.

I'll guess we'll have a separate NFL playoff/wild card thread later in the week so I'll make picks (and go 1-3 :D) for those games then.

I'm thinking Pittsburgh or Denver versus Seattle or AZ.

I don't think Carolina makes it, but wouldn't mind seeing them do it.

I'm glad to see the Texan's defense get rewarded with a playoff game. Without Brown the offensive line is going to have a hard time. Wonder what kind of Quarterbacks will be available in the 3rd and 4th rounds? Texans seem to use them up quickly.

As painful as it is for me to admit, you might be right. The Pack lost a lot of games they should've won. Things just sorta fell apart for them around week 6 and they never really got back on track.

Who you guys got winning this weekend?

I'm going with all the road teams-- no way that's going to happen, but that's how I lean on every game. I give Houston the best chance of any of the home teams; I give the Vikings the least chance. I think GB 'won' this past weekend.

HOWEVER.... zero degrees for kickoff in Minnesota! Playoffs baby!

Seattle - Playing the best of anyone going into the playoffs
Green Bay - I think this may be a shootout. Washington's secondary is weak, but if the d-line can apply consistant pressure might be tough for GB. Still, I'll take Rogers over Cousins
Kansas City - Houston still doesn't have a QB
Pittsburgh - I think Cincinatti cried a little when Pittsburgh made the playoffs

I would prefer the Vikings and Bengals win, but it seems unlikely. The Skins/Packers is a tough one to call but Rogers has the edge in experience.

I guess I'm taking both road teams today - the Steelers and the Chiefs. And maybe tomorrow too. Have all 4 road teams ever won on Wildcard weekend? Sounds unlikely.

I'm actually giving the Vikings a lot better chance than most people. With the cold weather, it could be a low scoring game and a big play here or there might decide it. We're missing Lynch again, so we're down to 3rd string running backs and tight ends. Russell Wilson and the offensive line will need a huge game tomorrow. Chancellor is back for us, so we're nearly at full strength on defense - but the team with the best offensive line performance will win.

So how much bourbon do I need to recover from watching Hoyer quarterback a playoff game?

You could better estimate that quantity if you were a baseball fan and watched the Astros/Royals game...:D
