I think it's just as valid as the Spagnola rumor.

Most superstars make lousy coaches, but Manning such a preparation fanatic, I could see him becoming a coach or a GM. Or joining an ownership group.

If I was Irsay, I wouldn't let Shanahan get anywhere near my franchise QB.

Peyton as a coach? As soon as he's done winning games as QB.

Gonna be a good wildcard weekend. Usually something I'd just as soon miss, not this year.

So here we go, the playoffs are here. The Seahawks lost 6 times this year, but look pretty good right now. 4th straight year of leading the league in scoring defense, and Russell Wilson broke all-time Seahawk records for passing yards and touchdowns in a season, and ended the season as the top rated quarterback in the NFL - on a team that runs more than it passes. Our rookie kick returner broke the team record for return yards in a game yesterday, and made the Pro Bowl this year. Now we go to Minnesota where we won by 31 in December.

All of which means nothing now. Let's go play some football.

I wonder if Minnesota will regret beating Green Bay last night. They now have to face a very tough Seahawks team, while Green Bay faces the far less intimidating Redskins.

I think the Skins might beat Green Bay. Whoever wins, will not get past the next game.

The playoffs are a strange animal. If I'm Minnesota, I welcome the chance at redemption. Somebody said you have to beat the best to be the best. Not saying the Seahawks are the best, but they have been to the last 2 Super Bowls and won one of them.

Home field is big. We had it the last 2 years, and we don't have it now. We'll have to go through Minnesota, Carolina, and one more road game just to get to the Super Bowl. Long shot at best, and there can't be any more meltdowns like last week losing to the Rams. If they can do all of this, they'll deserve another shot in the Super Bowl.

They played well yesterday, and we should get several guys back next week, including Marshawn Lynch (he said, hopefully). Even without Lynch, our 3rd string tailback got 100 yards yesterday, but Beast Mode will give us a lift. GO SEAHAWKS!

Man, liked Chip Kelly in Oregon, sad to see him fired, wanted to see some success there, gut says he takes another NFL job somewhere. He wants to see it through to the end.
