Looking at replacing the pure white pickguard on my 2011 american standard. Im just a bit worried about getting one shipped to oz that does not fit. Are all a/s 8 hole pick guards the same?

Just make sure to get a genuine Fender pickguard and you should be fine. Just avoid off brand ones just to be safe (not saying off brand ones are bad ,but it's a safer bet to just go with Fender). Unless another member can vouch for another brand. I had an off brand that didn't fit so I got a Fender pickguard and it lined up perfectly. Though there is always room for error.

I've used several Allparts pickguards and they all fit perfectly.

Allparts are fine, however if you shop ebay you can get Fender for same or cheaper than allparts.

Genuine Fender, Allparts, GFS, and Warmoth all have ones which fit guitars I've ordered for. I've even ordered from a low cost Chinese Supplier called EY Guitar Parts and had success with their MIA spec fits but the MIMs have needed some slight modification to fit around the control plate.

Warmoth is a great source for custom cut models in a variety of materials and their prices are about the same or less than Genuine Fender parts. EY has some nice but more limited products for a fraction of the cost of most any US manufacturer and their US spec models fit perfectly.

WD Music has a nice selection. I got one for my Hot Rod Tele, perfect fit.

That's actually who I had a problem with. I got a Standard single coil 3 ply white pearloid Tele pickguard and the rout for the pickup was too big (I could fit a heavy pick in it and had to in order to keep the pickup from shifting) also it warped after less than a month of having it :(
