I have an ‘05, same color - walnut satin. The string through holes are in the same location as others were I believe since around since maybe 2000 for the Squier Standard Series. Larger string through body holes but compatibly located where American Standard Series teles were since sometime in the 80s. I am using a Joe Barden hybrid (mostly vintage style, with AmStd string through and mounting screw hole placement) bridge plate and didn’t need to adjust for the string through holes. I think the mounting screw holes were a little different but they are covered by the SC bridgeplate. Getting a standard SC in the bridge and spaced like other SC Teles do (avoiding quack) took some creative modding.

    Overall I like the Tele.
