Hi guys- I am just looking for info regarding this guitar. I do not know much about acoustics, or taylors really. I am helping a friend sale the guitar and just wanted to try to get an idea of what it is worth. I am thinking its around $2000 range, but this forum has always been helpful to me, and just thought Id check here first.

Its a 2002 Taylor 810 LTD. Beautiful guitar really, in mint condition. Owned by a taylor collector (not player). Has original case and case candy.

Let me know if you need anything else, any info is appreciated,

    thanks!

Hard to know what a limited edition was in 2002...clearly the back and sides are rosewood, what is the top? The fingerboard/bridge? Grover tuners? Unusual for a Taylor, but a nice touch at least from my perspective...

Thanks for the reply - And I apologize for the poor pictures. The model number says 810LTD. Could the limited be the grover tuners? Nothing has been changed on the guitar to my understanding.

Im also unsure to what the top could be, or the fingerboard. Its very beautiful, much nicer than the pictures indicate. Ill see if I can find out some more info on it. Thanks for the help!

so, I used this thing called Google, on the internet. I found several references to 2002 810 LTD's.

    Here's the basics:

    Sitka Spruce top
    Cocobolo sides and back
    Koa wood binding
    Mahogany neck
    Cocobolo on the headstock

This is great - very helpful. Thats the exact guitar. Thank you. Would anyone know of a current fair market value or estimate? I am thinking around $2000? But not sure. Its in immaculate condition.

    Thanks!

BY the way, my 2000 510CE has Grover tuners as stock.
