I was blind sided by it. I didn’t think I’d dig it but loved it immediately

The Vintera looks more like Fiesta Red in that pic. Nice looking guitars nonetheless. Congrats!

It sure is Fiesta Red. I just wrote “red” initially but it’s definitely Fiesta.

Are there designated pic threads anywhere? Like a Strat pic thread or a vintera pic thread etc.

Wow! Well now my natural ash strat is going to get new covers and pickguard! Mine is black on black, but I love the cream on tortoise with natural in that pic. Very nice!

I played that exact guitar at my GC a few weeks back. Really well built and sounds superbly vintage.
    Enjoy!

Another happy Vintera 50s owner here. I think it’s awesome that Fender made this guitar. People online have been clamoring for production offerings with the old U-shape neck for a long time, and here it is! I’m not sure it’s quite caught on just yet quite like you would have thought. Maybe people don’t love the finish options or the fact that it’s called ‘Vintera’, I don’t know. Personally, I love the fiesta red and the name doesn’t bother me at all, it’s not like it’s stamped on it anywhere. I’m sure people rolled their eyes at ‘Baja’ in the early days too. Sorry for the rant, I just think this guitar deserves more love. Mine is an outstanding guitar. Enjoy!

I agree. I admit I didn’t like the color and now I love it. It plays fantastic.

Congratulations on both of them. I have what I call a Baja Vintera - butterscotch blonde with black pickguard. I love it.

Retail Therapy is a wonderful thing, for those who can do it right now!

    Very cool looking acquisitions.

I believe Andy's pictures are a more valid depiction of this color. If you gotta have a solid finish, this is a top choice.

A very cool combination. Those should keep you busy for a while.
