Hi all, I recently purchased a 1998 USA Roadhouse stratocaster, I have always loved the strat plus for its 80s sounds but never liked the roller nut arrangement. Hence I bought this 1998 strstocaster and decided to build my own version of the beast. Specs, pictures and details of the build to follow.

Now we're making some progress. Going with a set of gold lace sensors and tbx tone control. Fender genuine schematic that I'm using attached. I did however add a treble bleed.

Here we have the finished product beside my 62 bastard caster. Sounds absolutely excellent and plays fantastically. The TBX control really opens up the bridge position with the lace sensors. An 80s tone machine.

I would have stuck with the original style stainless block saddles, but to each their own. Very cool guitar. Nice work! And totally agree on the TBX. Entirely underrated tone control. It’s the only kind I’ll even use. I have pretty much no use for a traditional tone control. The TBX is a huge step forward.

The saddles are part of that bridge. It's a stainless steel ABM tremolo from Germany. I highly recommend checking them out.
