1996 Butterscotch/Black pickguard

    Hello, looking for some help...have a line on a 96 Butterscotch/black; maple fingerboard Tele made in USA. The only thing throwing me are the chrome saddles. I thought the US line from that year used brass saddles? It seems original, untouched.

    Which model? If it's a 52RI, than yes, brass with vintage bridge. If a Standard or Deluxe, or whatever they were called in 96, than no. But then again, I've been wrong before. Just don't tell my wife.

    It looks like a 52RI everywhere except the lack of brass saddles.

    Was this the model that came with two bridges? Others will know.

    Wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me, saddles are cheap.
