    Anyone have any thoughts on kits available or great 10 inch speaker pairings ??

    Weber used to make a kit. If it is no longer offered you could at least get the BOM and buy them separately. Build a head and try different speakers in a cab.

    The 6G16 is not TOO different from an AB763 amp. Tapped treble pots and a bias modulation tremolo are the major differences, though there are a bunch of resistor and capacitor values that are different.

    A while back I built one of these off of the original schematic and layout and added a Frendelli MV where the ground switch would have been. It sounds really good with Weber 10A125A 30W speakers, couldn't be happier with it! I'd bet Weber's version of the Jensen C10Q or simillar Oxford would sound great as well.
