Called Wildwood today for some info and was told that next year sometime(2020), they will be getting in
1962 Thin Skins in Surf Green that are Double Bound and rosewood necks.

The picture is from google, but I'm assuming they will be more or less this combo(maybe the surf will be diff, I think theres small variations in surf???? idk).

Either way, I'm about to buy a 55 Thin Skin in White Blonde.

Tough call for the Surf or buy the WB, I like both equally.

Good choice on the wildwood thin skin. I just picked up an AV64 Telecaster in Inca Silver back in November. I went back and forth between that one and the AV55. Rosewood neck made my decision. I’m sure your gonna love it. I’m a huge fan of the Wildwood thin skins. I’ve also got a Wildwood AV65 Jazzmaster. These guitars are absolutely amazing!

Post up some pics when you get it!

The photo you posted is a good color representation of my AVRI, the color deep and rich. More so than the unskilled picture I took below. They are indeed stunning in person...and the pickups (in the AVRI series) are terrific. T1 (2).JPG

The double-bound Surf Greens disappear fast - if I were looking for one, I'd call Wildwood and reserve one ASAP.

Very nice. All the Thin Skins I've seen have been really nice. I love my 68 Thinline version and have been kind of bummed Dave's no longer sells them.

Any double bound tele with any color is just beautiful to my eyes.

I got my grail, an AV62RI, in my most favorite color, tri-sunburst

I want a few more. In shell pink, CAR, black and shoreline gold.

If it's as nice as my AVRI it'll be a beaut.
