And you made me want a Junior hard!
...sweet build scatterlee
...do my eyes deceive me or have u installed the trussrod upside down?
That was a great read, looks like a Jr in a day!
What are the angles of the bridge and the neck heel/headstock?
Man... where do you guys get these mad skills from... sure as heck don't know
Excellent thread! From some bits of wood all the way to fantastic guitar!
I'm in awe of the way you shaped the neck with a grinder, did you radius the fretboard the same way?
It's your fault!!!
Damn, you've pushed me to another build, again!
It seems so simple...
This summer I bought online some Kluson for a telly, but ordered the wrong ones (3+3) with tulip, so I thought "who cares, I'll make a LP something someday".
Then one month ago my dad (75) sold its restaurant after 50 years and recovered for me a bunch of marvelous, almost 29yo, mahogany from the furnitures.
Today I saw this thread and now I have no excuses...
Thank you for sharing
I am already making a Melody Make LPJR Hybrid, so this thread just is making me want an Albino Gator Sammich...
Wow what a perfectly executed build! Makes me want one too!
While I sit here and attempt to soak up knowledge + courage for my builds, Scatter just goes out and f$%*ing does it, then custom builds a case as an encore. I'm equally inspired and terrified.
Great thread, spectacular Jr.
That was awesome.
Scatter, I love you builds, and the understated descriptions. Beautiful. THANKS!!!!
You make it look so easy. I really want one... NOW!
In a word.......DAM !
Props to you, man. I can't believe how you just said, "hmm, I have some scrap, let me throw a guitar together." and have it come out so damn fine.
How did you know where to drill the holes for the bridge? I didn't see any blueprints or templates for that.
