I just want to hear what kind of setting do you use, and what kind of sound your going for. Just for curiosity's sake because there is no "bad" setting, everyone wants their own sound.

I bridge normal 1-bright 2 and plug into bright 2 and keep the bright to normal ratio at 3:2.
Presence 8, mids 11, bass 2.5, treble 2.

MIM Tele- I get a mellow yet almost chimey clean sound. I like it for quick stop strumming on rhythm. Of course cranked up u get more naturally distorted sound. But the best distortion sounds for my ear are when I have a Tube Screamer in front with the tone and drive both cranked all the way, I then use the tube screamer volume to get a great saturation at even bed room levels. But when it's turned amp is turned up that's when u feel your knees buckle.
I think with the TS you get a real bright vintage rock sound that's less mellow but still has a strong crunch sound.

I use a Morley A/B box on mine. Boy, with both channels on this thing rocks! I do this on leads and strong sections.

Not missing out but missing something, bright u get all chimey almost voxy and normal u get bassman tones the blending of the two is simply orgasmic, plus if u normally play only on bright u can leave the normal at zero till u feel u need it like in a different stage or room

I just run guitar into Bassman and turn up. The amp does not need any pedals. I have a TS808 but the amp at the sweet spot is better so I do not use it. A little loud for many places nowdays. Bass 3, Treble 4.5, Presence 5, Mid 5.5 to 6, Bright 6, Normal 6+. I plug into the Normal channel. I do not bridge channels. I use a 5U4GB rectifier, 12AY7 V1 and RCA 5881 power tubes. Tele with a Antiquity neck humbucker and Donahue bridge pup. Sounds great with a Strat too but I prefer my Tele. A buddy of mine has a real 1959 Bassman and says mine sounds pretty much the same. Mine is an older Reissue with the Blue frame speakers that are well broke in. It has been a great amp. Have fun, Wayne

I had a very similar tube complement in my old Bassman RI and it sounded way better than a newer LTD and a Victoria Bassman clone.

I think a lot of the tone in the Bassman RI's has to come from these older Eminence Blue Frame speakers.
