If you do a 60's one, you could try to replicate Alvin Lee's big red... The Tele pickup on that one would be a surefire crowd pleaser here!!

Gil, Ken... when you guys give someone chills at first sight of a guitar on a computer screen you know you have done something right... fantastic work, truly awesome...

First of all, Gil, impressive job !
That blonde is simply a work of art. You did it again !!

The non-negotiable attention to detail of your builds is simply amazing and a source of inspiration for amateur builders like myself.
Many thanks for the incredibly detailed documentation of your work, and please keep it going ! We are all here on the other side of the screens learning how classic guitars are built from you !!

Yes, that's my baby !! Also coming from Ken's shop !! His products are really top notch, I don't think you can get any closer to the real thing.

This one was conceived as a "major repair" project: I had the destroyed original 335 of which I could only rescue the neck and hardware. I got one of Ken's kits and rebuilt a "much more proper" ES335 around the existing Gibson neck.

It was a bit of a coincidence that my build was almost concurrent with Gil's.
By far not in the same league, but I'm quite happy with the end result.

    Thanks!
The build is always the easiest part... it took a year to gather all the info before I made the dust.

I feel funny doing that Cherry 64 after Gibson CS did it. We'll see.

That would be awesome! There was one on gbase that was done in custom color brown and the contrast between the brown and creme pup covers and pick guard looked great. I'll try to find it and post the link. I love the original gold tops!
