It wasn't chambered..
I can only assume that the featherweight pine along with the 2 piece sandwich body made him think it was.
Tap tone of the much thinner Esquire body is also very different and the pine does sound a bit hollow.

Searching Arlis McMinn and the California Playboys on youtube brought up a pretty good interview with he and the bandmates just from a year or two ago. Looks like they are all still around. He had some interesting things to say about Leo and how he helped out the local musicians.

Arlis mentioned it was originally white and this current video shows it had been refinished at some time. Don't know if it was recently, or a long time ago and "garage kept" ever since. It looks as if the electronics are all original and the neck too.

Just curious.

Hi. For the last 2 years I have been the happy owner of this guitar. Just wanted to say: thank you Gil Yaron for building such an extraordinary instrument!

Original Blend Circuit as found on early protos and Broadcasters... there's a 15K resistor in there... twisted through 4 holes in the selector switch... d__n...

After Nacho's changes, as shown in 2010 on page 24.

Hi guys,

:arrow: A little update on this.

Some months ago I bought this guitar which was "time-treated" and heavily played by Nacho. It sounds really great and looks terrific to my eyes. Truly a fantastic guitar in all senses.

This is the way it looks now:

Perhaps Nacho would be so kind to chime in, with all the deets, on what these two Master Tele Gurus, wound up with on this finished Master Piece! :D
