12A125A et al. Back in Stock!

FYI, for anyone that's been waiting for months, Weber has their 12-inch "A" cones back in stock! This means that the 12A100T, 12A125A, and 12A150A are available to order again.

Just thought I'd pass the message along.

I just ordered a 12A100T as well as a12A125A; so excited!

I think that your speakers have a pulp cone, so they'd be a bit bolder sounding. The 12A150A would have a thinner, seamed cone, so it would be brighter I think.

I have a 12A125S in one amp, which has a pulp cone. I wouldn't say it's any better or worse, just different.

That is great news, thanks for the heads up! I had just contacted them last week about getting some WC12R cones that had been out of stock forever, glad they're in now. I love the 12A125's, I currently have a 20W version that is just sweet sounding. I currently have it in a Princeton sized cab powered by a modified 5F1 I built for the cab and speaker.

i've bought three in the past for my 5e3 builds and they are great speakers. i received an email from them indicating it was back in stock but, and i probably shouldn't be, i was absolutely shocked at the price bump. maybe it will come down a bit later.

Yeah, Weber's gotten more expensive.

Their 10A100T has a 7 oz alnico magnet and costs $129 USD.
In contrast, Jupiter's 10SA-P has a 14 oz alnico magnet and costs $129.99.

I'd love to try Jupiter's small-magnet alnico speakers one day, too.
Things have gotten expensive lately and it's reasonable, I think, that they adjust their prices accordingly.
