I'm ordering a Warmoth neck which comes with the tuner holes reamed to the "vintage" 11/32" ID (.343"). Warmoth only sells the old vintage-style tuning machines in that size.
Now I'm tempted to go with the old look tuners but my preference is the new contemporary style. Their GOTOHs and other modern options only come in .380" ID and up.

Do any of you know of a source of new style tuners in the smaller diameter?

Thanks

Take off the training wheels! Drill out those tuner holes yourself.:)

If you prefer to have it done, would Warmoth do it for you? If not, I would expect any luthier would do it for a minimal bench charge.

What I'm trying to say is that you should get the tuners you want, very simple/cheap to get those holes enlarged.

Agreed. Either order the neck with the tuner holes to fit the tuners you plan to use, or purchase a reamer and open them up yourself. It's not hard, you just have to take your time and test fit - test fit - test fit!
