Who are you giving the raspberries to? Who irritated you that much?

On a serious note, my wife LOVES red raspberries. Particularly fresh off the vine.

Jealous. When I used to live in Seattle the entire back property border was planted with berry bushes. I remember picking them till I was sick of picking them and just leaving the rest for the birds.

I have been handing them over to a local farm market for them to sell . I have plenty in the freezer and a few pounds of them will be going for wine . I already have more red raspberry Melomel than I can drink in my lifetime . Nothing like fresh picked , vine ripened red raspberries . They have already taken over 1/3 of my front yard and that all began with 3 lonely canes . Guess they're happy where they are . No doubt the patch will have grown when they come up next year .

I have a bit . Funny that you would ask . Neighbor's husband has a small still and had some cooked . Doubt that I will see the end of the small amount of it in my lifetime . It ain't p***y shine either . My guess is around 160 proof .

What is this sweet lambic of which you speak? My previous experience is that Lambic, like Captain Beefheart, is best enjoyed in small doses on an infrequent basis.

Any good shiner knows they need to cut that down to about 100 or less. Tear your gut to smithereens otherwise.
