I’ve got the stock G10n-40 which I’m interested in changing as I’ve read good things about some Eminence speakers:

    Red Fang
    Ragin Cajun
    Ramrod

I’m trying to find 10” ones with 16 ohms but seem to only find ones that are 8.

Am I simply blind? And also - what do people recommend / have experience of the above three speakers?

I want a bit more growl and bottom end.

    Some possibilities:
    Weber 10F150 16 ohm used. or 10F150T
The Red Fang is a nice speaker. I've only had the alnico. It may be too deep for your cab though.
Emi 105-16 Big bottom not harsh.

Parts Express generally stocks such objects in 16 Ohs.

One of my favorite amps is my Laney VC15 110 . It came with a Jensen , and I'm not a fan of the newer Jensens . I put in a Red Fang , RF10 C and it was a huge improvement , I've had good results with Eminence speakers in general . It was a close fit even getting it behind the tubes , so be sure to check your clearance which ever speaker you choose . The Eminence website gives height , depth dimensions , that's how I chose the RF10 . Also they will do custom orders for different impedance I believe .

This off their website...maybe call them or email?

"Do you offer a 16-ohm version?
Subject to parts availability, we can build alternate impedances of any stock model listed on our website."
