Since this thread came back to life, I thought I'd post a few pics of the Citroen truck owned by one of my favourite restaurants (Paris Beurre). The owner parks this in my neighbourhood and I took a few shots:

Come on, you have to admit that these headlights are just too cool!

this is very strange! this thread was near the top of the page when I came here, I never thought to look at dates. but I see now that it's ten years old! I don't have any idea how that happened.

but when I first came on here, all the thread titles had emojies and stuff. I don't know what to think.

Light. My wife fell for this house kind of like me looking at her. Everything's designed and built around a 2 story salt box style permanent sunroom, faces south, and rooms at ends or on north side have sight lines to the south facing windows. Maybe "best" has to be discounted or remembered when we replaced original windows. That was VERY expensive.

For the rest, I wish I didn't sprain/strain/hurt my left wrist and arm cutting and splitting firewood last weekend. I'm back to typing two handed but not sure about handling a guitar or hands on handlebars.

Well, I showed up late for the test, therefore I lose 1/2 credit towards graduation. The questions interest me, so I will bare my soul.

    1. Cowboy - You can have a guitar. I never saw an astronaut carrying a case in to the capsule.
    2. Citroen - I will have to work on it myself, and it would be more interesting than a truck.
    3. Accent- Russian, perhaps?
    4. Jack Wells Guitars - It has "guitars" in the name, so at least I know what I will be looking at.
    5. Stripper dust/Buckocaster - This sounds like an indoor activity that has air conditioning, and gator chasing is outdoors in a very inhospitable area. Hot, humid, infested with ticks and mosquitos. Camp LeJuene, North Carolina comes to mind. Besides being a Marine Corps base, it is a protected habitat for the American Alligator. Been there, done that.
    6. Danny Gatton - I like Roy's playing, but that trebly tone he favors pierces my brain after a few tracks.
    7. Don't know enough to make a decision, so I will pass.
    8. George Harrison - Nuff said.
    9. Vince Gill - An awesome player, singer/songwriter, and tasteful guitar owner.
    10. Telecaster - Guitars are living things, as to where amps are appliances, like toasters. I have never had anyone say to me, "Beautiful amplifier, dude!"
    11. Mrs. SS - She made my little 926 square foot bungalow in to a home, where I am comfortable and at peace. I never had this before. I always felt like a visitor, or a prisoner in all my previous domiciles.

awesome! Jack Wells is one of the finest 'home' guitar builders (and just a master of woodwork) I always dreamt I'd get to visit his shop in the greater ABQ area... his help and ideas and skills are.. well, inspirational... we don't see him around as much anymore, but I used to read and re read his threads... AMAZING stuff....

CSAPO has/had one of the grooviest collections of teles anywhere... don't see him around here ENOUGH anymore... Buckocaster makes the sparkliest sparkle teles anywhere(I think Ol Marty has one of them!)

What an old thread! and FUN! 
