I just pasted the title of the song i guess, and the name of the drummer, i guess.

this looks fun to play. I love how asians always go for the full effect.

    1mn40 for the music

So you take some western instrumental, a double bass, a trumpet, a stand up drummer, and then you switch straight to some kind of ska rhythm ? And a banjo for good measure.
The tokyo skunx are great. And i mean it.

Edit guitar wolf are pretty much out there too. It is weird how asian people take all kind of different influences and mix them up to get some new style.

Thinking about asian movies, they do a bit of the same really weird stuffs rob does. Or did.

I guess it is a cultural thing.

I love the way Japanese artists appropriate and repurpose, and all that coexists alongside some centuries-old artforms (kabuki, bunraku) which they have a near religious reverence for.

I don't know much by Baby Metal, but 'Give Me Chocolate' is something else. What I love most is how they strip away the (incredibly played out) doom/seriousness of metal and keep its pop instincts; bubblegum choruses with pounding verse riffs, too funny. Shorter clip of the song, but look at that crowd. Now that's a metal show.

I don't really like baby metal, but i love the way they mish mash old american music into something of their own. See the tokyo skunx above.
