Why is it that whenever I have a problem and google it, the first thing is some blog advising how I can “do X, naturally and safely?”

I don’t want “naturally and safely.” Tell me the nuclear brute force option where I can salt the earth so that nothing shall ever grow again.

I'll start with the weeds that grow between paving slabs.
