. . . Get ‘yer head outta the gutter.

Only 8lbs. Nice medium C neck. 1 11/16” at the nut.

Yes, it’s been a bit hacked up over the years. Nice refret with medium jumbos. Clearly not original pickups. But they are vintage, and sound AMAZING. Sustains, rings and stays in tune really well. Very easy to play.

Walked into my local shop and there it was. Being not pristine or completely original put it within reach and makes me not afraid to PLAY it.

    Feeling very lucky right now.

That's a great find. Almost too great.

    Is it Haunted or something?

Even if it is, probably worth it. Congratulations.

    Dang. Very nice.
What are the pickups/what would it originally have had?

Yes. Great pickups. Though to be honest, the current Fender reissues sound close to my ear. And regardless, if you think about the current reissues without references to vintage Wide Ranges, I think the current reissues are straight-up great humbuckers.

Good to know. I love the pickups in my 2012 MIM '72 Thinline but have never had the opportunity to A/B with original WRHBs.

Regular single coil telecaster pickups. The Seth Lover wide range humbuckers arrive in 1971.
