I own a 2012 av52 and used to have 2 52s from 2016 and had the same feeling: the latter's finish was harder, whilst my 2012 keeps relic'ing as I look at it.

The edges are well rolled on this '55, not too much, and I love the feeling. The high 'e' is a little too close for comfort above the 15th fret but I'm certain my Rutters saddles will help this, and maybe a slight neck bump.

Low vintage frets on sticky lacquer maple is not a good idea with a 7.25" radius. I had lots of finger drag on that 50s Classic, I actually started using 9.5 gauge stings to help. No such problems here, plays great!

Beautiful! I went with the Wildwood TS AV64 Telecaster but I it was a tough decision between the AV55 and AV64s. I feel like I need both haha. Enjoy that beauty!

It’s a no-brainer for me, my other TS is a Ocean Turquoise Metallic ‘65 Jazzmaster. Necessary? Not at all, but I’m not complaining, these are ‘lifer’ instruments I’m lucky to own :)

Me too! I also have an amazing TS AV65 Jazzmaster in OTM! These Wildwood TS are definitely lifers. I love mine and haven’t changed a thing on them.

    Here’s my two thin skins
