    Very nice work,

If you hadn't have told me, I would have thought this was an earlier version of the Carter bearing system that sells for a rediculous price.

I love it when ingenuity meets frugality.

    Nei Hao Long,
That should be able to cut large veneers or resaw very easily. A higher fence will help a lot.
What depth of cut will it do?

    Regards Dave

    Nice!

Any idea of the make or country of manufacture of the saw?

There is certainly no reason to apologize for your english. You obviously have a great deal of ingenuity and talent. And we can all profit from your experience. Tell us more about this beautiful old saw.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Very nice saw!

My stepmother lived in Nanchang for a few years while teaching at a college there.

Hi Tang Long We are almost neighbours. I am in Nanning Guangxi but go back to Australia on Saturday. When you build a guitar show us all here.

What kind of wood are you able to use?
