Applied some boiled linseed oil to the fretboard and started clear coating the neck with Satin poly.
I agree with you, not sure everything is quite right, but good to know that both coils make some sound when tapped, but one is noticeably louder....

Did some work last night. I decided to use the ferrules for the neck instead...
Found some time to work on the axe this weekend. Got my tuning key holes drilled and keys test fitted. Did some more carving on the neck.
Did some finish work on the head stock and started carving the neck. Got very little done.
