Well, soldered the hot wire in and resoldered the ground wire of the bridge with fresh lead. Maybe slightly less hum but maybe not.
And great the hot wire to the neck just came out. Guess Im soldering.
I just had my Tele worked on and set up and just tonight realized the bridge pickup is humming pretty loudly. I've had it back for a couple weeks...
I've always been on the lookout for a budget one of those myself. I think the closest options are the Epiphone Thorogood signature or a Guild...

With Seymour Duncan secret agent neck pickup. Pretty neat....
Apparently the necks will be Road Worn nitro as well. Not urethane like previous. The vintage blond is pretty nice looking.
Anyone know if it would work well with this neck? Or should I go with vintage amber? Its a Classic Series 50s lacquer neck[ATTACH]

I'm impressed with this one. The roast isnt overdone. And the blonde looks really good. This is done way more tastefully than the reissue...
