Separate names with a comma.
This appears to be the cause. Moving the amp to another outlet removes the noise.
Still, Id like to be confident plugging it in to any outlet...
Got a bit of weird noise on the normal channel.
The noise increases as I turn it up.

Yes, the OT has a wire grounded to its chassis.
Just checked it now 0.817K ohm so bang on.
I also did a whip around and checked every other resistor in the amp and they all measure...

Speaker is connected. With guitar connected some sound comes through but doesn't appear to get much louder when turning volumes up.

I powered up without tubes, using a dim bulb limiter. Bulb glows dim, pilot light is on strong....

As for the pots, star washers go on the inside up against the chassis wall. They 'bite' in so the pot doesnt spin...
