This bass was flooded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, years ago. It soaked in that mix of salt water, mud, sewage, and death for 3 weeks...
I'll age them in a bit more, but want to keep them visible. Just a light ambering, and leave them be. Probably a decent compromise.

I'm sure these weren't "clay", and appreciate the input. I think aged in white plastic will be closest for this heavily damaged neck.

[ATTACH] These face dots are just nondescript, any pearloid effect is long gone. Might be a better match to go white plastic and amber/grunge them...

I have this Ricky 12 here with me, the scale is a true 24.74". I just put a ruler on it to be certain.
