That's a really beautiful CL deluxe. A student of mine just bought one really similar to this.
I have yet to own a CL, it is on my wishlist.
So it is Bill Collings, not Joe Collings. Also the reason Collings switched cases were that the TLK cases with the brown interior would sometimes...
Any good guitar store would take care of it(either set it up right or give you a new guitar) at no extra charge...
I'd say take it back.
I can't complain!
Man you guys are on a roll, here are some Collings thin lines of mine(one a little bigger).
Your wife rules!
Maybe it will sound better with 11's acoustically and then it would be worth changing pickups on.
I use 11-48 Curt Mangan strings on mine.
Great collection! Like that goldtop ES Les Paul too.
That's cool, not familiar with them, where are they based?
Took my Collings Eastside Jazz with flat wounds for a spin the other day. Great guitar.
Keep those thin lines coming!
I have another one too, a G&L ASAT deluxe with two humbuckers.
Thanks, yes I don’t notice much of a neck dive on it.
Mine has the vintage Fender tuners, the blue thinline posted here looks to have totally different tuners.
Luckily the neck is massive so there's a lot to take from.
Its actually a super faded Aztec gold with journeyman relic but it almost looks like shoreline.
Yes, gold on ES style guitars looks a bit strange.
Thanks! The color is Super faded Aztek gold with the Journeyman relic treatment. Almost looks like Shoreline gold.
I always wanted a goldtop...
That's really nice man!
Thanks a lot Sir, that means a lot!
Got this super cool CS thinlie a while back, great guitar. Super light too-5.4lbs. Big soft V neck, 880-990.
Really versatile too. Works...
