If u unplug the guitar and the hum goes away u know its the guitar and not the amps fault
No need if ur transformer got the CT already no.
Maybe u need a artifichial center tap. 2x100ohms resistor from heaters to ground.
WD-40 would do the same job

I woulda moved the live wire for the fuse to the center of the fuse holder.
Just for safety.
Now you can get shocked when you change a fuse.
No matter witch way you choose to mount the transformers as long as you get the wiring correct.
The clips is to secure the tubes so they dont fall...

U could try 2 x 100ohm resistors from filament to ground for artificial centertap.
Maybe a stepper motor and a arduino to control it could work.
The normal layout is for putting chassis in a combo with faceplate upwards.
If u want this as a stand alone head just put tubes and transformers...

Eureka!! It works now.
Ive ordered a new output tranny but that didnt help.
And once again ive mesured all components and found nothing wrong....
I havent touched the wires for the speaker jack. Thats the original solderjob from Fender.
It had a volume drop before when original circutboard was installed.
But it also had some serious burned traces so i thought the board was going...
I start to think the output transformer is faulty.
When i do a ohm reading from b+ to each plate lead i get different reading. About 80ohms at one...
So pin 1 and 6 at 12ax7s and pin 3 at 6L6s then?
And about the pins and voltage readings i mesured. I did the pins shown with a red marking here except filaments....
Removed that now and still same volume. However the sound dissapeared all together when i turned tone all the way down before, now it dont. So thx...
