If looking at the guitar on a stand, I set the max at about 4 o'clock. This puts the minimum at exactly 6 o'clock.

Sounds like $1100, that's for sure. Although I don't play jazz, I play in jazz tones. I keep the volume at about 90% and tone at about 50%-70%.
