Greta rocks. I use mine everyday as the effects side of a W\D set up I use at home. It balances great with an old Supro.
The DD 500 can do all the delay duties and can be pseudo modulation when adjusted correctly. A million sounds in there.
I like to play like that at home. Nothing fancy just a couple stereo pedals an old Supro on one side and a Greta on the other. If you're not...

It should work fine as long as you don't mind paying more for your reverb unit then your amp. I can't say I've ever tried such a set up before though.
