Loving the single ply white plate, mines a off white, but I'm finding the neck pickup too good to ditch.
Spat coffee at that one. It IS like the lever you depress the toaster mechanism with. For me, it's dependant upon the Tele itself. '50s style Tele...
A real looker
Not a front cover, but the CD rear, or inner sleeve art on my vinyl album - Rory Gallagher - Jinx
The ones on my CV are nowhere near the quality of the ones on the Baja boris. They feel and look more like the solid post Kluson types that were...
Cool. You've put a bit of confidence in the mix, against my cheapness concerns. Cheers bud
These are the ones I've gone for, around £30 Sterling on UK eBay. They seem pretty cheap, but the Kluson/Gotoh/Ping can of worms is one...
Yeah sure alamo. I've got few mod parts up my sleeve
I'm with you on this one adamajah. Ordered some nickel Klusons today. Maybe there ARE good and bad suppliers on these, and the likes of you and I...

Thanks seekir, some really good tips there. I've been a lover of split post, Kluson style tuners for years. To me they are one of the ingredients...
Had the plate off my CV BSB today, and around the screw holes it was evident that the poly finish is pretty thick - 2mm + at a guess.
I've been using Ernie Ball slinky 10-46 for 20 years, 10-52 hybrids on my AV52. I also always stretch them in thoroughly.
Maybe mine will tighten as the guitar settles Alamo? I find that Far East instruments generally need a shake down period.
