Great movie. Wish they didn't drop the f-bomb every other word. But the music is really enjoyable.
I picked up a DV Mark Little Jazz about it 6 months ago. It is a very nice little amp. Tends to be a little dark, but sounds good at low and high...
I don't want to replace it, just add more.
[ATTACH] My personal best home amp thus far is a '59 Magnatone 118. 5W, 12" low efficiency Oxford speaker, and a headphone jack.
Lots of great Glenn Kaiser stuff. Acoustic, classic gospel blues, more rockin' stuff. But this one is my favorite.
I'm an Iowa boy. Errr. Old guy. Des Moines area now, but have lived all over the state. QC, Sioux City, Ia City, Webster City, Nevada.
Ok, there are some bad songs here, but I'm not sure that anything is worse than this
Double Vision - Foreigner
I swapped out the replacement whizzed come speaker with a vintage alnico organ speaker and it made all of the difference in the world. Much...

I have to admit to being a Lovepedal fanboy. I have a Dover Drive, Les Lius, OD11. MultiTap delay, DL-1 delay and an HSR-3 reverb. In fact, the...
Sorry, I have no way to record mine.
Just imagine if angels played electric guitar:grin:
Some nice recent additions to the club. I just picked a '64 M9 to go with my 260A and 118.
I will post more pics and my thoughts later.
I guess I qualify for this club. Here are the only 2 amps that I own.
1961 Magnatone 260A and a 1959 Magnatone 118.
My wife bought me an Archer for Christmas. I have not owned a Klon, but did have a Soul Food when they first came out.
IMHO, The Archer is...
Good looks for normal guys. They do a style consultation with you and then send you clothes they recommend.
Magnatone 260 and my recently acquired Magnatone 118
Bump for more ideas. I'm in a long term (slow) build of my own rat rod tele.
I'm building a T style partscaster. I have all of the parts ordered and waiting for my body to be finished.
I need some assist with a...
Original "Sudden Stop" Percy Sledge - excellent
Cover "Sudden Stop" Colin James -even better
Update 5 years later. The Tim pedal is gone (sadly), bit the Magnatone remains.
In his retirement, my father decided he wants to build guitars. I told him I wanted a tele, and this is what he made me.
