Does anyone know what ohms are required. I want to upgrade the speaker to a higher decibel speaker but don't want to blow the amp!
There are three that interest me.
Micro Pog, Organizer and Mosaic. Does anyone have experience of these and can offer comments, comparisons?...
The demos on their site are utterly boring. Talking over the playing the whole time!
I liked the HOF at first but then ditched it. Still like the Ghost Echo, Polara and Holy Stain.
Yeah, I've owned and played through the other noted SS amps and I still love my Pathfinder. It has a character that suits me. Did like the Lab amp...
Just play through a bunch of different voxes and you'll find one you like. there are a range of tones available from the different amps but there...
Started out playing in bands with a Tele thinline through a Road bass amp with an 18" speaker. Huge sound, probably not great for jazz but since...
I wish Vox would re-issue the 15R as a 50W or 75W amp with a 10" or 12" speaker. I bet they would sell well. Peavey sells plenty of Bandits. Vox...
I have an old UniVox solid state amp, only 18 Watts but with a 12" speaker and it's a pretty fun, clean amp.
EHX Germanium Fuzz/Overdrive is good and for that matter the Big Bass Muff is pretty great for guitar as well.
To resurrect this thread I will second what Longbow said. . .I tried the 35RT hoping that would be a great amp but I too didn't like it as well as...
Toss up between Clarence White and Albert Collins, well there was that one time I saw Eric Clapton with Cream.
Oh interesting, what's that?
well I would be happy if Vox would do a Signature Nora Jones Pathfinder. Come on Vox, you know that would sell like gluten-free hotcakes in Sun...
Note the Celestion 8-15 linked above is 4 ohms and will WRECK your amp. Always match impedence correctly. The Pathfinder needs 8 ohms.
Your tastes run similar to mine. I like Vox amps and I also did own a Lab Amp L-2 which was a head unit. Really great sound. The advantage of a...
There is an owners club on this site which is one of the all time most popular discussions, fyi.
The Swamp Thing is a great and loud speaker, you will like it. Not sure it would be the choice for Vox type amps but excellent tonality otherwise
Voxes are wonderful but not all guitar pickups bring out the best in them. I just changed the picks when I figured that out.
Can't wait to try one of them but they aren't in stores yet here. I wish there were more videos or sound clips
I think they are okay but not great.
Do you like the clean tone without the effects?
I love the tones Jeff Beck gets from the PJ. .
That's unusual. I would never describe any of the three 15Rs I have owned as ice picky.
