TC Alter Ego V2
Checks all your boxes and sounds great. With the toneprint function you have unlimited possibilities
Been a Phaser owner for years, Phase 90, 95 and 45, love them all. But, I've always found myself trying to get a "uni-vibe" sound out of them....
I know I say it a lot, but a BD-2 is such an underrated boost. Keep the gain at 9 oclock and bump the volume. It just makes you sound better.
Replaced my Phase 90 with a Uni-Vibe.
Very happy with the decision.
I've found for me, the best boost is a low-mid gain overdrive that is "transparent" and not so "mid heavy". I use a BOSS BD-2 with gain low and up.
I run both pedals on my board, and neither one has a significant mid-hump. Both sound very "natural" and stack very well...
Had room for a Phase 90
I have a Ditto and an Alter Ego V2 on my board, both are solid.
Can't go wrong with a Ditto
Gibson Les Paul into a BD-2 into an Alter Ego V2 (Echorec setting) into a Katana 50
Nobels is a winner
I've had an ODR-1 for 24 hours and have no idea why this pedal isn't mentioned more. Everything I was hoping for and more
I had this pedal a couple of years ago. The reverb was kinda "meh" but the tremelo was fantastic
Just added a Nobels ODR-1
I just ordered a Nobels OD1-R too stack with my BD-2, I'll keep you posted.
Wah, Overdrive, Delay
I can tell you that a FD2 Mosfet is NOT a bedroom pedal.
Les Paul w/ an Alter Ego V2 on the EP1 setting with a Marvel Drive is magic
Replaced my EPH-3 with an Alter Ego V2
Actually....RAT is the answer to everything, no disrespect to an OCD, great pedal! But, a Ramble FX Marvel Drive is the best I've ever played.
With the utmost respect, your pedal choices are phenomenal and I bet it sounds amazing, but your board really kicks in my ocd.
