I too am in sunny melbourne and I concur that it's mainly Les Paul's & strats.......then teles / 335's
Everyone plugs into fender amps in them...
I keep them on a stand mostly, they go in their cases when I go away for extended periods
Less hassle if they are out....so I end up playing more
I triple check cables, power, etc, etc....so I am convinced it is the pedal.
I just wrote to cmatmods so I will wait and see what they say.

I have two blues juniors
I use them both at once....one clean and one dirty.
They work great and I am happy with the tones I am getting.
My view is they are not the same.....so I don't try.

Part of the joy of this journey is having different...
Maybe apply a light coat of shellac with a rag.
If you tint the shellac with walnut stain it will darken it up.

I have an AllParts neck with vintage specs and a 10" radius (it's a strat). They make great necks.
I would recommend AllParts as an option.
