Please don't use a pencil to chopstick inside an amp. A non conductive plastic or wooden dowel or a........ chopstick, etc.
Your board looks fine and your cabinet looks fantastic!!!
Bravo!! That sounds fantastic!
The difference will be the voltage between heater and cathode (vhk) which is our concern here. There will be no change in the operation/voltage of...
from Robs site
the gibson GA-5 uses 8ohm and a 47k nfb resistor. all else is pretty "champy" in design.
JJ may do the trick but for my money the added reliability of elevated heater is worth a couple inches of wire and may save big$$$ if trying to...
Yea thanks Wally. I was a little short on the reasoning.

Careful your switch is not grounded or you will have parallel paths to gnd on some readings... like throught the bias pot, etc
Make sure you have good heater voltage to each triode and good pin to socket contact
Check that the -ve bias vdc is present on both grids of the trem tube. Appears that you have no oscillation. Check the speed pot and the 100k tail...
Like what? The direction of the tweed fabric and such I suppose! :)

Even better is what nick stated and upload the pics direct to the thread.
Can't recall ever having any real issues with a trem ckt other than the LDR failing. LOL..
Do you have negative bias voltage present to jump...
