I never get tired of sonic blue and maple with a white guard. Wish Fender used ash for a”50s” tele.
I used pure tung oil. Takes a while to fully dry but feels really nice.
Musikraft, although their upcharge for roasted is a little steep ($100). I have 5 of them.
I not going to grain fill the maple, I was considering doing the skunk stripe.
Got my lacquer, now I just have to wait for some not so humid weather. The skunk stripe feels really smooth on the back,

Did you have to do anything different as far as wiring in order for the Oildale to work with the Antiquity phase wise in the middle position?
