Is The Way To A Mans Heart Thru His Stomach?

Proud to say I worked there! Rosemary Jameson was a free spirit. The burritos were the best, haven't been able to find any even close, Rosemary kept the recipe a secret.

Is The Way To A Mans Heart Thru His Stomach?

I worked at a Tex/Mex restaurant, our chili slow-cooker was never cleaned, we just added to it. The best chili ever. Texas Taco Patterson NY!!!

    Adults Excited About Halloween....

A good Halloween song? In the spirit of the day: "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

The main problem I have with Newcastle is the clear glass bottles. Skunk City. With all due respect to skunks, I like skunks, the unofficial smell of my county!

    Whirlpool washer repair

I personally "repaired" my Whirlpool top-loader last year, it washes clothes but now vibrates like Linda Blair in the Exorcist during the spin cycle. Good luck with yours, I have no advice.

    Adults Excited About Halloween....

Being "child-like" once in awhile is different than being "childish" all the time. Now get off my lawn you damn kids!

    Fleetwood Mac

I always liked Christine McVie's songs the best, a great voice.

    Bass Ale

I drank them all and have decided modern Bass Ale is rat infested bilge water, just a copper colored liquid from the bowels of Anheuser-Busch, Inc. It was a boring, flat, lightly flavored malt beverage. Anheuser-Busch could turn a good recipe into crap and they have done it again with Bass Ale...

    Bass Ale

Back in the 1980s Yuengling Porter was one of the few good beers available in my neck of the woods. Prior Double Dark was another. And Ballantine India Pale Ale was excellent and cheap.

"Went up to Nome to see the sights, had a yen to watch them northern lights."

    Bass Ale

That's why in the early 1980s I started making my own beer, because there was nothing good available, I'll make my own! (Thank you Charlie Papazian.) I stopped when the microbrew explosion happened, suddenly there was good beer available cheaper and easier than I could make it.

    The aurora borealis

The aurora borealis is supposed to make its way to my neck of the woods tonight and wouldn't you know it, it's cloudy. Did you get to see it?

    Bass Ale

I used to brew my own beer and you could buy "Burton salts" to make your awful fluoridated, chlorinated city water the same as the Burton-on-Trent water that Bass and some others used to brew beer in the 1700s.

    Bass Ale

I used to drink Mickey's Malt Liquor. It stung like a bee and was cheap. But nothing was as brutal as Haffenreffer!

    Bass Ale

I'm on my 4th bottle of this Bass/Bud and the best I can say is that bourbon works as a chaser for this swill.

    Bass Ale

During my one visit to Dublin I walked in the pouring rain from my room at Trinity College to the Guinness brewery for the tour. I got my free glass of Guinness and it was good.

Good suggestion! Instead of a Guinness Foreign Export 4-pack tomorrow maybe I'll buy one bottle of my all time favorite.
