Need opinions on the Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster

I have a 2019 model Nashville Deluxe. I am not in love with the stock noiseless pickups. To my ears, the 2 and 4 position sounds are not to my liking. Never use them. I have a Strat for those sounds. Originally I was hoping the Nashville would make the Strat redundant, but it didn't. I'm...

How'd you boomers tolerate this crap?

I don't recall any influential guitarist ever saying they were influenced by the Dave Clark 5. Their music isn't even guitar based. This has to be a clickbait troller. And by the way, most of the great guitar based music was written by boomers.

7 sound mod for Nashville Telecaster?

I’m just trying to clarify this procedure. I bought the push/pull pot. Just trying to clarify where these 2 wires go. I just need the 2 wires? Do I remove the current neck pickup wire from the 5 way and solder it to the push pull pot? Then run another wire to the 5 way where the neck pickup wire...

Fender Noiseless Pickups in a new Nashville Deluxe Telecaster

I have been playing these for a few days in my new Tele. They really don't sound like any tele pickups I've tried before. Quiet, but not quite single coil sound. Really not like a humbucker. Kind of in between. More growl, but a quiet growl. I'm more used to a SD Antiquity sound. Smooth, and...

    New Nashville Deluxe Telecaster arrived

The guitar itself looks good so far. The setup out of the box was as good as I've seen. I only had to tweak the nut slots and relief a little. The intonation was spot on. I changed the strings to NYXL Balanced Tension 10-46. I'm not sold on the pickups yet, but they seem ok so far. The 3 pickups...

Need opinions on the Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster

I ended up buying the same color. Being delivered on Friday. I’ll play it a bit before deciding on any mods. I wasn’t able to specify a weight, but the ones I saw on Sweetwater were all right around 8 pounds. But Sweetwater did not have the white in stock. Keeping my fingers crossed that mine is...

Do you know if the fretboard radius is still 12 on the 2013 model? Thanks!

Need opinions on the Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster

I am looking at this tele. I want a tele with a 12” fretboard radius and under 8 pounds. The middle pickup is a plus for me, making it a very versatile guitar. I can get one new for just over $800, or buy one used for just under $700. Opinions? Thanks! Len

It doesn’t offend me. Just don’t like it and won’t buy it. My money, my choice.

    The new Pau Ferro necks

Not sure about you guys, but I could never bring myself to buy any guitar with a Pau Ferro neck. I need to have a uniform, dark neck. Just my preference. But I do love a nice aged maple neck. I do hope they come up with a nice dark, readily available neck material soon.

Need advice on problem with my new amp please

They had no problem getting a reading from that tube. The tube was functioning fine. Actually, after testing the tubes, it was the rectifier tube that blew and took out the fuse. They checked the grid resistors and both were good. They put in new tubes (JJ's) and re-biased and it's fine now. And...

Need advice on problem with my new amp please

I took it to an auth service center, they checked it all out, re-biased it, and all is well. And they did it while I waited. They are 80 miles from me. It's playing great. :-)

Need advice on problem with my new amp please

I got a new Fender 1968 Custom Deluxe Reverb (Silverface) amplifier for Christmas. I love the amp. I was playing it the other day, when the light went out in the panel. I checked the fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse and it blew again. I removed the power tubes and rectifier tube, and...

Who Was Lucky Enough To Buy One Of These Speakers.........

Hi there! I just bought a new Fender 1968 Custom Deluxe Reverb and I happen to have one of the original Joe Naylor Alltone 1250's that I bought many years ago. It's in perfect condition. Do you think it will outperform the stock speaker, which is a Celestion G12V-70? Thanks for your input! Len

    FretKing/Vintage V62 Reissue Tele

I recently purchased one of these and thought I'd share my opinions in an effort to help others who might be considering purchasing this guitar. Overall quality is high. No real issues. Needed a setup but no different than any other guitar out of the box. After setup guitar played well...
