    New American Special Tele

Has anyone had a chance to play the new American Special Tele in Lake Placid Blue? I've always liked the American Special line. Just curious how the new ones feel and sound.

American Special Tele neck pickup rout

Does anyone happen to know if the neck pickup rout for the American Special Tele is routed for a single coil or a humbucker? I've been thinking about this model for a while. If I ever got one, I'd probably want to try a Gibson mini-humbucker I have in the neck position.

    72 Telecaster Custom Club

I've been looking to see if this club has been established yet. I can't find it, but it's probably a result of my ineptitude! Has anyone started a club for these guitars yet?

    Rout or Route?

I was looking in the New Edition paperback version of the Merriam-Webster Dictionary today, since I noticed a lot of people using the word "route" on this forum. I think they may mean "rout" instead. ROUT (meaning 2, definition 2)--to gouge out. ROUTE (meaning 1, definition 1)--a...

Ordering a Texas Special bridge pickup

Does anyone have any ideas where to order just the Texas Special bridge pickup? I already have the neck pickup I want--a Gibson mini-humbucker, which sounds great. I have a Duncan Little 59 in the bridge now, but I miss that twang.

    Bridge Pickup Suggestions?

Hi, everyone! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the bridge pickup in my 80s Paisley Telecaster reissue. Right now I have a Duncan Little '59 in the bridge (paired with a Gibson mini-humbucker in the neck). The Duncan is a great pickup, but I miss the twang of a single-coil in...

Any ideas on replacement pickups for the '72 Telecaster Thinline? I was wondering if anyone has replaced the WRHB pickups with FilterTrons, or even Gibson mini-humbuckers.

As anyone played (or better yet, does anyone own) a 60th Anniversary Precision Bass? I'm interested in any impressions of the bass.

If you could play only one Tele, what would it be?

I was just curious--if you could pick only one Tele to play, what would it be? You can consider Teles you've had in the past, Teles you currently own, or Teles you plan to buy in the future. I would also include any guitar (such as partscasters or G&Ls, etc.) that aren't specifically...

    Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups?

Hi, y'all! I was just curious--what's the consensus on Fender's Vintage Noiseless pickups? I'm thinking of buying a Classic 60's Tele and replacing the stock pickups with vintage noiseless.

    Duncan Little 59 bridge pickup

Does anyone on the forum have one of these pickups? I just put one in on my 80s paisley reissue, and it sounds great! I have a Gibson mini-humbucker at the neck position, and the two compliment one another quite well.
