Help me to choose a second guitar...

Junior with P-90 is always a good choice. If there were an SG Junior in your area, I'd consider that too.

The first new edition of the Vintage guitar fair in Veenendaal, The Netherlands will be held tomorrow. So NGD impending.

The parts-Dano is interesting. Body is from the 3/4-scale amp-in-case Silvertone, neck from a Longhorn Guitarlin.

CHEVY is killing CAMARO In 2023!

Agree. High sills, low roof and low seats makes it feel like you're looking out through mail slots. Parallel parking would be an act of faith. Mustangs were much easier to deal with as a daily driver, but the most recent versions of those have gone the same way as the Camaro.

    Anybody Into Old Volkswagens?

Can't dispute any of that. I just meant that a 356 is clearly a high-end Beetle. It's got all the same elements - rear-mounted air cooled flat four, front and rear trailing-arm torsion bar suspension, the forked tunnel as a major structural element, the heater channels. The main difference is...

name the guitar and its owner.

I've played that guitar. One day in the early 1990s I walked into Strings & Things in Memphis. Right past the front door was a large round gazebo-shaped display with a row of guitars in niches around its circumference. One of them was a pretty nice sunburst '50s Strat, so I picked it up...

Interesting observance going by a funeral home.

I saw a cop car turn on his lights and siren, and then cross a concrete median to try to get to a McDonald's. The best part was that he high-centered his patrol car on the median and got stuck. Delicious, delicious schadenfreude.

And the German word for Beetle is "Kafer". For a few month they made Kafers with the old split rear window, but with the new dashboard of the oval-window version. These are called "Zwitter", which is German for "hermaphrodite".

    Anybody Into Old Volkswagens?

I remember mention in an old Autoweek magazine about a drag race between a Fiat Nuova 500 and a VW Microbus. The upshot was that no one present realized they were witnessing a contest of speed.
