    What makes your Telecaster "Yours"?

Thanks! She plays great and there's no way it's going anywhere. I would love to get the sunburst CV with the double binding.

    What makes your Telecaster "Yours"?

Yeah. Wife and I went to Cancun for our honeymoon and went to Chichén Itzá on an excursion and totally loved it. Later that year, wife bought me this new Tele for Christmas. The factory inspection tag was dated the same day we left Mexico. We thought it was quite the coincidence and Maya...

    What makes your Telecaster "Yours"?

What makes it mine? I've been thinking about my response. Mine is 2009 Squier CV 50's tele my wife bought me the 1st Christmas after we were married. I could write a novella. I'll keep it simple. Besides upgrading everything except the tuners. I've embraced the 50's tribute thing. Bakelite...

Should I pull the trigger on an early 70s Super reverb?

I forgot to mention, mine is a Master Volume version(1st year). That being said, you can drive the tubes and NOT go deaf. 1 of the main reasons I bought it in the first place.

Should I pull the trigger on an early 70s Super reverb?

Let me know how you make out. I have a 1975 Super Reverb for sale in NY. It has been toured a lot and shows honest wear but, sounds great.

    Squier question

That is sweet! I have a homebuilt strat that is along the same lines. I need to put up a pic, it's a hardtail, mahogony body that's done in clear like your tele. Hmm, I could buy this inexpensive MIC squier and make it a thinline with a flamed maple top:grin:. Maybe an arched top with a stop...

    Squier question

I've never had a basswood bodied guitar. I looked at those bodies on the rondo site. Would they accept a fender neck?

    Squier question

Thanks. The CV in the avatar is mine. One of the things I dug about the CV was the pine body. Nice way to respect the original. I'm looking at a MIC squier tele as a project. Might pass on it as I am thinking about a thinline body. Love the f hole. IDK, probably change my mind about 10 times...

    Squier question

Looking at a body for a project, the MIC squires body is what kind of wood? I don't want it if it's plywood. It's already been cheaply repainted and strings do not go through body. Any info is appreciated as always! Thanks, Jake

Looking for a left-handed smoke shifter

Really? I haven't heard of anyone wanting one of these in years. I think the last time was when I was a boyscout. Good luck in your search! ;)

    Classified's ???

I have the app for an android and same thing. No classifieds. Is there a reason for this? I know I'd like to see this changed. Just my 2 cents. Thanks!

    CV 50'S TELE Question

By tight action, what I meant to convey was that it's difficult to bend. Action is low, standard tune. I tried raising the saddles on the last set up and relieving the neck and it was no different. Just a higher string height. I told the tech when I dropped off before thanksgiving that I wanted...

    CV 50'S TELE Question

Hello all, My tele's got a tight action. What I'm curious about is...does anyone alse have this scenario? I've got regular slinky 10's on her and have for a while. Always had adjustments made at reputable dealers. My other hardtail guitars and every tele I've ever played are like butter to...

If I could just find a pedal that would give it a Marshall-style crunch at lower volumes for rhythm and still let me keep the singing Fender tone for lead, I would be one happy amper. Justin The guy I bought my Super from had an early 90's Fulltone Full-Drive pedal and it had a great...

Very nice '70! Obviously, I don't mind showing/telling what speakers are in mine. I did some homework as I never knew E-H offered speakers. Turns out, they're Eminence speakers with a different sticker on them. I'm really happy with how it sounds. The tele barks nicely and with my...

Hey everyone! I just got my first Super Reverb! My first vintage fender amp, actually. A Silver Face 1975 with the master volume. Non-original speakers( 2 Electro-Harmonix and 2 Jensens) It's got some real nice road wear. Just enough, IMO. The guy I got it from was a regular-gigging player...
