I have a set of EMG Humbucker (81&66) and would love to install them on my Affinity Tele....

What all would I need to alter outside of the bridge and pickguard? Would i need to rout some cavity out for the battery? I've found a bridge that would seat a humbucker, and a pickguard too. I also already have the wiring kit for a LP with 2T/2V setup. Thanks guys!

Psychobilly Genre is such a breath of fresh air!

I hear you on that! Some of the music videos I've watched seem more about the costume aspect than the music. What are some of your top songs of the genre?

Anyone else in love with this genre?! I discovered this genre by accident and I'm absolutely smitten! Like the B grade horror films of the 70's and 80's soundtracks.....just pure fun!

What are some of the more "affordable but still good quality" diy brands that you would recommend? I've just got the hang of soldering and was looking for another learning project!

Looking for some solutions y'all may have already found!

I need to find something that isn't dependent on a pc/MacBook. I don't have the money for a new unit like that. But like a headphone amp or audio interface I could put AUX into to play through my amp?

I have an iPad, but it's pretty dated....I believe its the Mini 2nd gen. What setup can I use with that? I saw a focusrite interface that would connect to ANY lightning equipped ios device.

    HELP ME TDPRI!!!!

Thank you! It boggles my mind how a thin piece of paper can change the angle drastically enough to help, but I'll try anything before removing wood off the body or neck, just to be safe.

Would a reverse shim be on the headstock side, or the bridge side. I apologize, I'm just beginning to learn all of this stuff.

    HELP ME TDPRI!!!!

Where would I find Mylar? I've never heard of it outside of balloons used for birthday parties. I've seen the business card trick used in loads of shimming videos, and you would obviously hide it and not let the edges flow out of the gap between the neck and body right?
