Back and sides being the only variable, a laminated guitar will sound the same as a solid guitar

I start with the fact that a Luthier called Antonio de Torres built a cardboard guitar with only the top being solid wood. People enjoyed its sound and were amazed. Others tried the same experiment with conclusive results. Back and sides is less important than the top soundboard. There is "high...

Back and sides being the only variable, a laminated guitar will sound the same as a solid guitar

I also hear the differences between laminated and solid back. My question is does this difference is mainly due to the bracing inside.

Back and sides being the only variable, a laminated guitar will sound the same as a solid guitar

So you have two same acoustic guitars with solid top soundboard. One has laminated (plywood) back and sides, the other has solid wood back and sides. Everything else is the same : wood species, construction, weight and measurements. Both guitars were made on a Thursday when the sun was at its...

Cheap acoustic guitars that are objectively the same as their expensive counterparts

After my practice sessions I played in front of a bunch of ladies and they all wanted to bed me.

Cheap acoustic guitars that are objectively the same as their expensive counterparts

I am not. The Harmony guitar is not the only guitar ever recorded. In order to learn you need to practice with the same tonal characteristics that is present on the recording. Cheap acoustic guitars that are objectively the same as their expensive counterparts

Regardless of their inferior built quality 70's MIA Martins and Gibsons cost many grands. There is excessive hate towards replicas so much that some bring the discussion to a personal level, which indicates we are dealing with bashing not objectivity and facts.

Cheap acoustic guitars that are objectively the same as their expensive counterparts

I believe some 70's japanese lawsuit guitars are equal if not superior in built quality than some MIA ones. They are still hidden gems that people know little about. I will never spend more than $500 for an acoustic instrument when you have people finding some for $20 + neck reset that are as...
