I tell ya, I don't think people understand how good he really is. When "I Wish My Brother George Was Here" was released he was totally playing off that Parliment Funkadelic thing, but it was crazy good. I thought he was great from the get go. After that, he really began to take off on his own...
My older brothers were starting high school when rap was in its infancy and they really got into it. Therefore, I heard a lot of the early stuff when I was 5 or 6 years old. I still listen to some of it today and still think it's great.

I bought this 2012 LP Traditional a few years ago. It was used when I got it, but was in fantastic condition. Plays very well too. It's one of the "alternate" neck Les Pauls. Granted, it's not a Custom Shop or Historic model, but it scratches my Les Paul itch.
Reds fan here as well. Last year was horrendous and this year looks like it's going to be more of the same. However, I'm staying true. Definitely not going to switch my allegiance anytime soon or ever. I absolutely love the game and can't wait for pitchers and catchers to report!!!
I used to play down a half-step all the time. With bands, at home practicing. Didn't matter, I was always tuning down. Then one day for whatever reason I tuned back to 440 and absolutely loved it!!! I loved the added tension. It was like I could dig under the strings a bit more or...

Glad to hear that it was a good experience for you. Sure, they aren't for everyone, but they have seemed to work out for me and my style of playing for sure. They say, "never say never", but I doubt I'll ever go back to thinner picks.

Thank you so much guys. I truly appreciate all of the compliments on the guitars. I'm very lucky to be able to own them. I definitely don't take them for granted.
Man, thank you all so much for such a wonderful welcome!!! I can already tell that this forum is much more courteous and friendly than some of the others.
@Cosmic Cowboy I would be happy to show my small family.....

Hey guys/gals,
Just registered on the forum. It's great to be here and I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and checking out their guitars and gear.
I've been playing guitar for roughly 30 years. Played in various bands in that time and played out regularly and consistently for about 11...
